Students who intend to complete the Advanced Certificate and/or Associate in Applied Science degree in Web Development should take CIS 144 Java Object Oriented Programming I instead of CIS 103 Fundamentals of Programming, as CIS 144 Java Object Oriented Programming I is required for both the AC and AAS degree.

Develop and implement websites, web applications, application databases, and interactive web interfaces. Evaluate code to ensure that it is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers and devices.
