The Basic Certificate-Early Childhood Special Education is for undergraduate degree holders with an Illinois Professional Educator License and an LBS1 endorsement or an Early Childhood Endorsement seeking a letter of approval for Early Childhood Special Education. The ECSE approval prepares students to teach in an early childhood special education setting.
