The Cosmetology Department is dedicated to preparing a diverse student body for licensure exam, career entry, advancement, and life-long learning in an increasingly interdependent global society. The Barbering program meets the standards of the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation in total hours and has a licensed teaching staff, standard industry equipment, approved facilities, and quality course content that meets industry requirements.
